Requirements
Must:
- Expert knowledge of backend development with Python, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with frontend technologies including React
- Strong experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proficiency in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Demonstrated ability to implement automated testing strategies (unit, integration, regression)
- Knowledge of security best practices, role and permission management, and data protection
- Experience optimizing performance and scalability for enterprise applications
- Strong DevOps capability including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems using Python and Node.js
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for application integration
- Implement automated testing strategies to ensure code quality
- Manage application security, role permissions, and data protection protocols
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Utilize DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines for efficient development processes
Description
We are Exalto Consulting, actively seeking a contract Back-End Developer with expertise in Python and GCP. This role offers a competitive rate of £525 per day and is expected to last initially for 6 months.
