Requirements
Must:
- Current SC clearance
- Experience in cloud architecture / AWS
- Proficiency in Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Familiarity with Github Actions or other pipeline tools
- Understanding of observability tooling with any tool welcome
- SC eligibility
- Desirable: Experience in any programming language, particularly Python
- Desirable: Experience in evangelizing platform engineering practices
- Desirable: Understanding of force multiplication for DevOps/Platform teams
- Desirable: Experience in building reusable, consumable Infrastructure-as-Code and CI jobs
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture on AWS
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions
- Ensure effective observability of the systems using relevant tools
- Collaborate with the team to enhance platform engineering practices
- Participate in client site visits approximately every 6-8 weeks
Description
We are Exalto Consulting, currently recruiting for a contract AWS DevOps engineer. This position is remote, offering a day rate of £525 inside IR35, with an initial duration of 6 months. We value flexibility and focus on creating an inclusive environment for all team members.
