We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in backend software engineering
- Deep experience with Java, Maven, Spring Boot, and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, and cloud-native engineering
- Hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, Fargate, CloudFormation/CDK)
- Solid grounding in CI/CD, DevOps automation, and modern SDLC (Scrum, BDD, TDD)
- Experience in leading engineers and driving delivery in agile environments
- A passion for collaboration, coaching, innovation, and raising the engineering bar

Responsibilities
In your role as a Technical Squad Lead, you will:
- Design and deliver efficient, scalable, end-to-end applications
- Write high-quality, well-tested code that aligns with modern frameworks and engineering best practices
- Lead engineers of all seniorities, setting goals and driving performance
- Keep applications secure, up to date, and fully aligned with our engineering policies
- Drive DevEx improvements, CI/CD standardization, and automation
- Own the SDLC, collaborating closely with Test to ensure strong coverage and automation
- Support architecture with design decisions, trade-offs, and solution evaluations
- Prioritize and clear technical debt
- Deliver cost optimization and drive adoption of AWS best practices
- Manage repositories, documentation, environments, pipelines, and engineering hygiene
- Run demos, champion innovation, and push forward proofs of concept (POCs)
