Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
- Awareness of configuration management tools and infrastructure as code (CDK knowledge is a strong advantage)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (we use Jenkins and Concourse CI)
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux administration
- Strong working knowledge of AWS (essential)
- Familiarity with application containerization platforms and registries such as Docker & ECR
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, Go, TypeScript)
- Knowledge and/or experience with Java
Responsibilities
- Improving software development efficiency by delivering tooling and guidance that enhances infrastructure resilience, security, and cost optimization
- Supporting teams in resolving operational issues related to availability, performance, and scalability
- Influencing and contributing to Service Level Objectives, Non-Functional Requirements, and infrastructure requirements
- Highlighting deviations from technology standards to the Technical Design Authority (TDA)
- Creating and maintaining documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing resources, ensuring SRE practices are embedded across squads
- Supporting shared services used in development, testing, and production environments (e.g. GitLab, Concourse, Jenkins)
