Requirements
Must:
- 3–5 years in BI, reporting or analytics
- Advanced Power BI, Databricks, AWS (DAX, Power Query, SQL, Python all desirable)
- Experience delivering analytics in a finance-heavy environment
- Ability to simplify complexity and explain data clearly to senior stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder influence and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record of turning messy data into meaningful, automated reporting
- UK Driving Licence
Responsibilities
- Lead the Operations Finance data & reporting plans, ensuring alignment with central BI and data teams.
- Shape a multi-year roadmap and support strategic business cases for investment and build best-in-class reporting.
- Elevate all reporting, scorecards and KPIs through intelligent, impactful visualisation in Power BI.
- Combine financial and operational metrics to build true end-to-end performance reporting.
- Move the business toward high-confidence self-serve analytics and strengthen data foundations.
- Own and maintain KPI catalogues, data dictionaries and calculation logic and drive the migration of financial data into AWS and Databricks.
- Improve data quality through automation, API integration and source-level process redesign.
- Unlock insights and feedback to senior stakeholders.
- Coach the team in BI best practice, Power BI adoption and automation techniques.
