Requirements
Must:
We are looking for individuals who have a BSc in Computing Science or an ISTQB certification (or equivalent training/experience). You should have at least 2 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer, demonstrating a strong capability in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive automated test cases. Experience in Agile and DevOps software development environments is essential. Proficiency with the Java technology stack, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines (such as Jenkins) is required. A strong understanding of JSON data structures and API calls is necessary, along with solid SQL and scripting skills, and familiarity with AWS, S3 buckets, Oracle, and RabbitMQ. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver is important, and experience with JUnit 5 or a similar testing framework, as well as test reporting experience with Allure or similar tools, is desirable.
Responsibilities
As an Automation Test Engineer, I will play a crucial role in ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle. I will collaborate closely with squad members, Product Owners, Technical Business Analysts, and developers to deliver high-quality enterprise software. My duties will include designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using the Evri test automation framework, increasing the level of automation to improve quality and reduce deployment lead time. I will ensure that automation is considered early in the process and is part of the acceptance criteria. I will also support System Integration, End-to-End (E2E), and Regression testing activities, maintain and improve regression packs, and ensure thorough automated regression testing on software changes. I will track and report quality assurance metrics around defects, identify opportunities to improve and automate processes across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and document and share knowledge to build the team's collective capability. Staying up to date with new testing tools, practices, and test strategies will also be part of my role.
