Requirements
Must:
- I must have a minimum of five years of experience in IT support.
- I need to have worked within a secure and/or manufacturing environment, particularly in a Security Clearance Business.
- I should possess knowledge of operating systems, equipment, and technologies relevant to IT.
- I am required to maintain confidentiality of company information.
- I must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and effective multitasking.
- A meticulous eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
- I need to have the ability to obtain BPSS and SC clearances.
- A strong foundation in critical thinking and logic is necessary.
- Familiarity with ITIL v4 Foundation and project management is a plus.
- I should hold relevant professional certifications.
Responsibilities
- My main purpose in this role will be to oversee the IT systems and assets of the company.
- I will assist with upgrades, fixes, and provide necessary training and support to staff.
- I will engage with employees throughout the organization to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
- I will manage and prioritize my workload efficiently while collaborating with third parties on IT-related tasks.
Description
I am hiring for an I.T. Support Technician position at my well-established manufacturing company based in Halesowen. The salary for this role ranges from £30,000 to £35,000 per year, depending on experience, and the working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, in an office-based setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software, network maintenance, and be up to date with industry trends to meet our customers' growing demands.
