Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in ship and air system integration
- Strong safety management background, ideally within shipbuilding projects
- Hold a Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics qualification at RQF Level 4 or higher
- Broad experience providing technical advice and leading successful engineering outcomes
- Professional registration with a relevant body, such as IEng, CEng, RSci, CSci, RMarSci, RMarTech, IMarEng, or CMarEng
Responsibilities
- Lead ship/air interface activities to ensure seamless coordination between the vessel and aerial systems
- Manage safety during the shipbuilding project
- Split time equally between ship/air integration and safety management
Description
We are a leader in defence and maritime projects based in Bristol, seeking a Ship/Air Integration Lead for a contract until March 2026, with potential for extension. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Fleet Solid Support Ships for the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
