Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (PhD welcomed)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building AI agent systems, particularly with multi-agent workflows
- Practical experience with agent development frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, etc.
- Strong proficiency in Prompt Engineering and Context Engineering
- Working experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Excellent programming skills, preferably in Python
- Solid software engineering background with experience delivering production-quality systems
Responsibilities
- Design and implement systems to extract structured and unstructured data from internal repositories (web pages, documents, knowledge bases) and external sources (websites, research papers, APIs)
- Develop multi-agent architectures for complex multi-step tasks, including agent role definition, goal planning, sub-task decomposition, tool integration, state management, and long-chain reasoning
- Build agent pipelines that retrieve, analyze, and summarize technical content into high-accuracy insights and reports
- Deliver production-grade AI agent solutions such as intelligent assistants or insight-generation tools
- Collaborate with research, engineering, and strategy teams to support technical intelligence workflows
- Perform any additional duties reasonably required to support project objectives

We are a leading global technology research organization based in London offering a 12-month contract for the position of Technical Insight AI Agent Engineer, with a strong possibility of extension. This role is an exciting opportunity for a strong MSc graduate or early-career PhD who possesses hands-on agent system development experience and is eager to work in an advanced research environment. Together, we aim to enable data-driven decision-making, identify emerging technology trends, and support high-level strategic initiatives.
