Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong T-SQL skills (query writing, performance tuning, indexing)
- Experience with Azure SQL Database
- Experience handling structured data (CSV, XML)
- Experience using Git for source control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with data anomalies
- Experience working in Azure environments (desirable)
- Familiarity with CI/CD or DevOps practices (desirable)
- PowerShell or scripting experience (desirable)
- Experience working in Agile teams (desirable)
- Exposure to financial or regulatory data (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimise SQL-based data processing solutions
- Investigate and resolve data issues raised by internal users
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and correction across large datasets
- Troubleshoot production issues and deploy fixes
- Improve performance of queries, transformations, and database structures
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in data pipelines and internal tooling
