Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in cyber security governance, assurance, or security management in secure/regulated environments (e.g., UK Government or Critical National Infrastructure)
- Knowledge of NCSC guidance, Cyber Assessment Framework, and cyber security best practices
- Strong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001:2022, including experience achieving certification
- Familiarity with security risk frameworks and national security governance
- Experience delivering security controls across complex, multi-supplier programmes
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to interpret, implement, and assure compliance against detailed contractual security obligations
- SC clearance (mandatory)
- Eligibility for NPPV or DV (if applicable and required during time in post)
- UK residency requirements
Responsibilities
- Act as the security point of contact for government customers and security stakeholders
- Deliver and maintain the Security Management Plan processes to ensure contract-level compliance
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Etherstacks Information Security Management System in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022
- Conduct internal audit activity ensuring compliance to security requirements
- Manage continual improvement activity to enhance the ISMS and security posture
- Conduct root-cause analysis on security failures and implement mitigation plans
- Develop and deliver security awareness and training programmes
- Identify and assess emerging security threats
- Manage the remediation of vulnerabilities identified through third party testing activities
- Conduct risk assessments identifying suitable controls for mitigating risks
- Maintain oversight of in-life security delivery performance and compliance obligations
- Monitor third-party supplier adherence to contractual security requirements
- Support coordination across teams to meet client security objectives
