Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing with Power BI in a professional setting.
- Expertise in DAX and Power Query to create robust and dynamic dashboards.
- Strong experience with SQL, particularly in data manipulation and querying across large datasets.
- Proficiency in ETL processes, with a proven track record of integrating data from diverse sources and formats.
- Advanced proficiency with SQL databases, specifically Postgres (desirable).
- Experience working with Databricks for large-scale data processing and analysis (desirable).
- Familiarity with machine learning methodologies and their application in analytics projects (desirable).
- An understanding of the property and lending lifecycle, particularly within the context of PropTech or FinTech industries (desirable).
- Previous experience in a fast-moving start-up environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and innovate in a dynamic setting (desirable).
Responsibilities
- I will design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
- I will write and optimize DAX formulas to ensure efficient data modeling and analytics performance.
- I will use Power Query to connect, clean, and transform data from various sources.
- I will develop and maintain efficient ETL processes, integrating data from multiple sources and formats into cohesive datasets.
- I will write and optimize SQL queries to support data transformations and reporting requirements.
- I will collaborate with stakeholders and users to gather requirements, ensure alignment with business goals, and provide training where necessary.
- I will monitor the performance of Power BI solutions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- I will advocate for data best practices and contribute to our overall data strategy at e.surv.
