Requirements
Must:
- In-depth experience of automated SQL data testing methodologies, tools and best practices in an Agile setting
- Strong knowledge of at least one Test Automation tool with the ability to create automated testing frameworks
- Knowledge of the general structure of a data warehousing system and its purpose within an organisation
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data platforms (e.g., SQL Server)
- Experience in working with large datasets, data pipelines and data integration processes (ETL)
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced project work environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality automated testing for new software products across front-end, back-end and web-based data applications using Power BI tools
- Work collaboratively with Developers, QA Analysts and Delivery Managers to define test strategy
- Perform thorough testing of data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and integrity
- Compare data between systems, applications, and environments to ensure consistency and integrity
- Validate the performance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and database queries to ensure they meet performance benchmarks
Description
We are looking for a specialist SQL Automation Test Analyst with strong BI, SQL, and data expertise to join our team based in Warrington for an initial 6-month contract. This role offers an outside IR35 status with a competitive rate of £450-475 per day.
