Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience with Power BI and DAX to create visually engaging interactive reports and dashboards
- In-depth understanding of Azure Data Factory and ETL pipelines processes
- Experience with data warehousing in a CI/CD environment
- Ability to present complex data effectively through data visualization techniques
- Experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects concurrently
- Understanding of data quality and ability to prepare data for analysis
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Business Intelligence reporting system infrastructure, including delivering new reports and monitoring report performance and usage
- Gather, interpret, and develop reporting requirements in partnership with business leads
- Develop and drive actionable insights from our data sources to support senior management decision-making
- Conduct data quality checks, ensuring data integrity and accuracy before implementing findings
- Develop reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate strategic findings and present these insights as recommendations to key stakeholders
Description
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer who can create actionable insights by analyzing data from internal sources. A strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, and Data Warehousing/ETL pipelines is essential, along with experience in Azure Data Factory. You will assist in building a new, best practice-based data warehousing and reporting solution that will function enterprise-wide. Providing an intuitive user experience is key to our operations, so understanding business requirements and delivering suitable solutions is crucial. We value ownership as a core aspect of our culture, and you will be responsible for providing third-line support for solutions in production if needed. The role is hybrid based in Preston and offers a salary range of £48-55k, along with an excellent bonus and benefits package.
