Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience in a similar role performing maturity assessments across multi-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of capability development frameworks and continuous improvement principles.
- Extensive stakeholder management experience, with the ability to work with teams that have conflicting priorities.
- Experience in resource management and financial estimating planning for IT project work.
- Working knowledge of maturity models, standards, or frameworks (CMMI, ITIL, ISO 27001) is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the maturity level of the IT and Cyber Security function and conduct gap analyses against defined maturity standards.
- Develop and lead the organization's maturity and assessment framework.
- Prepare plans and reports to track resource status, utilization, and efficiency.
- Conduct assessments across teams, functions, and services to evaluate the maturity of policies, capabilities, and processes.
- Develop and implement resource planning strategies and processes.
- Manage and report on KPIs for the IT and Security function, recommending improvements or changes to these KPIs.
- Strive for operational excellence by identifying threats and opportunities to optimize resource usage, reduce waste, and improve cost-efficiency.
Description
We are seeking a GRC and Maturity Lead to play a key role in ensuring our IT and Cyber Security function can deliver on agreed capacity and performance targets while driving continuous improvement across our IT landscape. This role includes designing and delivering maturity assessments, analyzing performance data, monitoring progress against Security Maturity standards, and planning all necessary resources for these activities. This position is hybrid, based in Preston, with a competitive salary of up to £57k, along with an excellent pension and bonus structure.
