Requirements
Must:
- Proven leadership in Environmental Health, Port Health, Trading Standards, and Licensing services
- Significant senior management experience within Public Protection or a related regulatory environment
- Strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework governing Environmental Health, Port Health, Trading Standards, and Licensing
- Proven ability to operate at a strategic level, providing professional advice and influencing senior stakeholders and elected members
- Experience of managing complex risk, enforcement activity, and multi-agency working
- Demonstrable leadership, financial acumen, and experience of driving service improvement and transformation
