Requirements
Must:
- 5 years of hands-on Python development, producing clean, maintainable, production-grade code
- Strong Azure experience: Azure DevOps, Docker, cloud deployment, Azure Functions or equivalent
- Proven track record designing and integrating REST APIs and microservices
- Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Comfortable working independently in an evolving environment and owning architectural decisions
- Strong communication skills, confident explaining technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
- Background in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry (good to have)
- MLOps or model deployment experience (good to have)
- Familiarity with Power Apps or low-code platforms (good to have)
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of a next-generation parametric pricing engine
- Transform a robust Python prototype into a production-grade, cloud-deployed service
- Make key architectural decisions and build cloud infrastructure from scratch
- Drive best practices across the project
- Build API and integration layers enabling two-way communication
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for safe, continuous deployment of model updates and hotfixes
- Define and implement structured data input/output flows, replacing manual Excel-based triggers with API-driven processes
- Support configuration of new features in the clients platform including data fields, parameters, and UI elements
