Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong background in AWS and hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Proficient in automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch
- Understanding of Linux environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to mentor junior engineers
- Commutable to Guildford
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS and hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Drive automation initiatives using Terraform and Ansible
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions to enhance reliability and performance
- Act as a technical escalation point and mentor junior engineers
- Participate in on-call rota and manage incident response
