Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in programming, specifically in C, C++, and C#. Experience with LabView is highly beneficial. You should possess skills in multi-threaded and multi-process programming, as well as in the development and design of display systems. Familiarity with HMI and GUI systems, real-time programming, and strong documentation skills are also necessary. While not mandatory, experience with technologies such as Visual Studio, MVVM, Eclipse, databases, and microcontrollers is desirable. A Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a similar relevant qualification would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and supervising mid-level Software Engineers and coordinating team tasks and responsibilities. While this is a hands-on position, you will also serve as the technical lead on software design projects. It is essential to become an expert in our internal software, systems, and procedures to effectively perform your role. We encourage you to present new ideas that enhance team effectiveness and efficiency.
Description
This position is based on-site in Kirkbymoorside, with the option to work one day per week from home. Candidates seeking a 4-day work week on a pro-rata salary will also be considered. Our package includes a 37-hour work week, 25 days of holidays plus bank holidays, a 5% pension contribution, private healthcare, life insurance, flexi-time, and more.
