Requirements
Must:
- In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS).
- Hands-on expertise with vendor platforms: Juniper, Cisco, etc.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage your own workload.
- Understanding of network security standards and scripting would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will design and implement high-performance solutions while leading on technical problem resolution and supporting junior engineers. You will work closely with clients, making excellent communication and stakeholder management skills essential. Your role will include identifying and implementing automation opportunities as part of the wider technical team. You will also deliver the technical strategy and act as the escalation point for queries within the Network Team. Furthermore, you will research and evaluate new technologies and solutions, providing recommendations for service improvements.
Description
We are a well-established and growing ISP in West Yorkshire, with over 20 years of success. We require a Senior Network Engineer to help us continue this success, based on-site in Bradford.
