Requirements
Must:
- C Linux Embedded (any level)
- Working with some kind of protocol
- 8 years commercial software development experience
- Degree qualified with significant experience in at least one programming language
Desirable skills:
- Networking protocols, Ethernet, TCP/IP
- Systems level programming
- Yocto
- GNU
- C++
- Python, Bash, tcl
- Bootloaders
Responsibilities
- Engage in deep, end-to-end engineering work covering everything from the bootloader upward
- Contribute to the architecture of new, continually evolving products
- Start with specifications to determine the best implementation strategies
- Collaborate closely with hardware for real-time feedback
- Participate in diverse and challenging projects with a focus on networking and protocol implementation
- Drive innovations from conception through to implementation without micromanagement
- Handle a variety of tasks from general software releases to new product introductions and custom feature requests
