Network Engineer

As part of our team, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures encompassing LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud-based environments. You will be responsible for configuring and installing various network devices and services like routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with business operations. You will monitor network performance and security, diagnosing and fixing performance bottlenecks and connectivity issues. You will maintain and update documentation of network configurations, processes, and service records. In the event of network-related issues and outages, you will provide technical support to ensure minimal downtime and an optimal user experience. You will perform root-cause analysis for critical incidents and work towards permanent solutions. Ensuring network security is crucial, and you'll achieve this by implementing appropriate Cisco technologies such as Cisco ASA and Cisco ISE; managing firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Regular network updates, including firmware patches and upgrades to equipment, will also be on your agenda, as well as researching and recommending new technologies and advancements in Cisco networking solutions.
