Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a proven leader with experience guiding a DevOps or platform engineering team in a fast-paced environment. You should possess strong working knowledge of AWS, including VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, and EKS, as well as experience with Kubernetes in production settings. Hands-on experience supporting and deploying large-scale SaaS applications is essential, along with familiarity with security, compliance, and scalability concerns in cloud environments. A proactive approach to infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and continuous delivery is vital, as is the ability to collaborate across departments to drive technical and operational excellence. Expertise in infrastructure-as-code, particularly with Terraform, is also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will take ownership of scaling and maintaining our secure, multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure running on AWS and Kubernetes. I will mentor and develop a small team of capable DevOps engineers, championing their professional growth and providing constructive feedback. I will ensure that our infrastructure decisions align with wider business goals while enabling rapid deployment cycles. Leading by example on technical work, I will apply rigor and pragmatism to system design and change management. Additionally, I will help shape and drive our internal DevOps practices, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and business teams. Continuous improvement will be a focus, as I proactively address performance and security issues while fostering autonomy within the team through clear communication and a strong shared sense of purpose.
