Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development.
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps practices.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in Agile environments.
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance.
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
- Confidence in developing full-stack solutions as a polyglot developer/engineer.
- Familiarity with contemporary software engineering practices, including the selection and application of appropriate technology and patterns.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Java Developer at our organization, you will engage in diverse responsibilities, including:
- Implementing software solutions through design, development, and testing.
- Utilizing a broad spectrum of technologies, with a focus on open-source libraries and components.
- Utilizing tools like GitLab to construct continuous integration pipelines that promote software quality and security.
- Deploying software systems across a mix of environments, including public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud.
- Being involved in the full software lifecycle, which includes:
- Project concept formalization
- Requirement analysis and specification
- Software architecture design
- Software implementation and delivery
- Software training and support
- Software lifecycle and maintenance
