Senior Software Project Manager

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of software and technology projects - Define scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders - Establish and maintain governance, including risk management and reporting - Ensure adherence to methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches - Manage budgets, resources, and dependencies - Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients and senior leadership - Build and maintain strong working relationships - Ensure clear communication across all levels - Manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle - Coordinate cross-functional teams (Development, QA, DevOps, Product, and Support) - Provide leadership and direction to project teams - Remove blockers and enable efficient delivery - Promote a collaborative and high-performing delivery culture - Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues proactively - Implement mitigation strategies to minimise impact - Escalate risks and issues appropriately - Provide regular and accurate project reporting, including status updates, risks, financials, and key milestones - Track and analyse project performance against KPIs and SLAs - Ensure transparency and accountability - Contribute to the development and improvement of project delivery frameworks and standards - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and delivery outcomes - Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends
