Requirements
Must:
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS, Azure, Windows, and Linux (RHEL, Bottle Rocket).
- Hands-on experience with Flexera FNMS and discovery agents.
- Strong understanding of complex networking and security configurations.
- Demonstrable track record as a hands-on problem solver in enterprise-scale environments.
- UK Security Clearance (SC/DV) or the ability to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- I serve as the primary technical authority for deploying and troubleshooting Flexera agents across AWS and Azure environments.
- I apply infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform, PowerShell) to automate deployment and standardize infrastructure operations.
- I overcome advanced networking challenges (DNS, static routes, firewall rules, security protocols) to enable agent-to-server connectivity.
- I work across legacy and bespoke environments, ensuring agent deployment succeeds in inconsistent architectures.
- I contribute to estate-wide architectural planning covering containerized and hybrid platforms (e.g. IBM Skytap).
- I provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers, instilling best practices.
