Must:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Java Backend Developer with previous experience in the iGaming and Gambling sector. You should have expertise in backend development using Java and Spring Boot, be skilled in version control with Git Flow, and proficient in JPA and Hibernate for seamless database interactions. A strong command of SQL for efficient database management is essential, as well as experience with Redis for caching and performance optimization. You should also be knowledgeable about message queueing systems like AWS SQS or RabbitMQ. Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit, an understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration, and experience with AWS cloud services for scalable application deployment are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
In your role, you will work closely with the team to implement complex backend logic and platform solutions. You will write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices. Staying updated on the latest Java frameworks, libraries, and development techniques will be essential. You will need to translate business needs into technical solutions while estimating time, costs, and requirements. Additionally, you will develop, test, and deploy backend solutions that meet client expectations and provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing and future projects. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to shape and execute product roadmaps, as well as partnering with creative and development teams to bring ideas and projects to life, will also be significant aspects of your responsibilities. Lastly, you will create support documentation and deliver training for internal and external users, leveraging your industry knowledge in iGaming to enhance solutions and ensure compliance with standards.
