Requirements
Must:
- Basic experience with SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of data structures and data quality principles
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn in a project-driven environment
- Exposure to ERP systems (Sage X3 or similar) desirable
- Experience with ETL tools (academic or commercial) desirable
- Exposure to cloud platforms desirable
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities
- Analysing data from legacy systems
- Supporting ETL (extract, transform, load) processes
- Validating and reconciling migrated data
- Performing data cleansing and quality checks
- Supporting UAT and testing phases
- Maintaining data mapping documentation and migration logs
- Providing support during and post-migration phases
Description
We are Elevation Recruitment Group, working alongside a key client engaged in a large-scale ERP transformation program in Sheffield. We are looking for a Junior Data Developer to support the migration from legacy systems into Sage X3. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience in ERP implementation and data transformation projects. You will work closely with senior developers and stakeholders, gaining valuable insights and skills in a progressive, supportive environment.
