Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++
- Experience with PyTorch or similar machine learning frameworks
- Skilled in GUI development (e.g., PyQt, Tkinter) and web UI frameworks
- Knowledge of real-time data processing and multithreaded applications
- Comfortable working in Linux (Ubuntu, Raspbian, Yocto) and Windows
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub) and backlog management
- Ability to use AI tools to support code development
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Must be a UK national, eligible for security clearance
Responsibilities
As a member of our high-priority, multidisciplinary R&D team, you will contribute your expertise in Python, C++, GUI development, and real-time data processing to the development of groundbreaking sensing and intelligent systems. Your role will involve designing and implementing software for prototype systems, integrating AI models, and collaborating closely with hardware teams to deliver complete solutions. You will be key in creating both prototype and customer-focused applications that support advanced technology demonstrations and trials. Working in our innovative environment in North Somerset, you will engage in rapid development and experimentation with multidisciplinary project teams to develop user and application software that integrates with physical hardware systems and prototype technologies.
