Requirements
Must:
- I require at least 3 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- You should have a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, ActiveRecord, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with RSpec or similar testing frameworks is necessary.
- Familiarity with Sidekiq, Redis, and background job processing is a plus.
- Comfort with Git, CI/CD, and collaborative workflows is essential.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with frontend engineers and product teams are important.
- Bonus: Experience with multi-tenant SaaS apps, AWS (SQS, SNS, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS), or performance profiling.
Responsibilities
- I need you to develop and maintain Eleanor’s backend systems using Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.
- You will build and improve internal tools to automate workflows and enhance team productivity.
- Collaborating with the frontend team (React / React Native) to design clear, efficient APIs will be part of your role.
- You will develop and implement new product features.
- Writing clean, testable code and contributing to improving CI/CD pipelines is needed.
- You will assist in optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity across multi-tenant environments.
- Participating in architecture discussions and helping shape the technical roadmap is essential.
