Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a data engineering or analytics engineering role
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills
- Experience with modern data stacks (e.g. dbt, Airflow, Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
- Strong focus on data quality and reliability
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
- Nice to have: Python, CI/CD, or GraphQL experience
- Nice to have: Startup or early-stage experience
Responsibilities
- Own the design and development of the companys data platform
- Ensure the business can confidently query, trust, and act on its data
- Design and build data pipelines and architecture end-to-end
- Create a single source of truth across the business
- Integrate multiple data sources as the company scales
- Implement data quality, testing, and validation frameworks
- Build clear documentation and data definitions
- Support an AI-assisted data querying layer used across the business
- Work closely with non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions
- Collaborate with engineers where data intersects with product
