Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess a strong problem-solving mindset and take ownership of their work. You should have experience with at least one of the following technologies: SQL (complex queries), Unix (effective command-line competence), or Java (code reading). A background in client relationship management is essential, along with fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office. Familiarity with tools like AppDynamics, Jira, Confluence, OpsGenie, and Citrix is desirable. A degree in Computer Science or a related field would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for being the first line of defense in IT operations by monitoring systems, managing incidents, and ensuring business-as-usual (BAU) continuity for our clients. Your key tasks will include rapid responses to alerts and tickets to minimize disruption, executing system changes under strict Change Management protocols, and leading or supporting Major Incident Management. You will investigate root causes and recommend service improvements while maintaining accurate audit trails via ticketing systems. Staying current with our technologies and contributing to team knowledge growth as well as proactively identifying potential service disruptions will be vital.
Description
We offer a competitive salary of £32,500 per annum, inclusive of a shift allowance. Our work environment is hybrid, with a schedule that includes shift patterns.
