Requirements
Must:
- Good academic qualifications relevant to the post.
- Evidence of further study preferably with a higher qualification.
- Appropriate qualifications relevant to the post.
- Well developed oral & written communication & presentation skills.
- Current knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures (training provided).
- Enhanced CRB Disclosure is required.
- Experience in customer service (2 years required).
- Experience in IT Support (2 years required).
- Open to existing IT Technicians with educational experience preferred.
- Own transport required for movement between schools.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to staff and students, addressing IT-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems, ensuring minimal disruption to educational activities.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of computer networks and systems, including Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and help desk support.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance IT services and resolve complex technical challenges.
Description
At Ed-IT Solutions (UK) LTD, we are an expanding company dedicated to providing IT maintenance and technical support to Primary Schools across North West Lancashire and South Lakes. This full-time position offers a salary range of £25,000 to £27,500, alongside benefits such as company events, pension contributions, and subsidised travel. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team after a 6-month probationary period. With 20 holiday days plus Bank Holidays and a company shutdown between Christmas and New Year, this role offers a great work-life balance.
