Requirements
Must:
- Preferably have experience working within the energy and utilities sector.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using business analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of business processes, systems, and data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using business analysis software, project management tools, and productivity applications.
- Knowledge of industry-standard business analysis frameworks is desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Lean methodologies is a plus.
- Certification(s) in business analysis would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- I will conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, systems, and operations to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- I will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and objectives.
- I will translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and use cases, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and feasibility.
- I will develop and maintain detailed documentation, including process maps, workflow diagrams, and system configurations.
- I will collaborate with technical teams to design, develop, and implement solutions that address identified business needs and requirements.
- I will facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements, gather feedback, and ensure alignment between stakeholders.
- I will conduct impact assessments to evaluate proposed changes and ensure minimal disruption to existing business processes.
- I will provide regular updates and reports to management and stakeholders regarding project status, milestones, and deliverables.
- I will ensure finished products are handed over, signed off and embedded with Business as Usual (BAU).
- I will stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and process improvement.
