Requirements
Must:
As a candidate for the Data Collection Specialist role, you should possess a strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data. Good organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. You should be a clear communicator who can follow instructions and escalate issues appropriately. We value a proactive and curious mindset, as well as a willingness to learn and suggest improvements. Comfort with using data systems, spreadsheets, and digital tools is necessary. An interest in environmental data, compliance, or sustainability is desirable but not essential. Importantly, we do not recruit based solely on skills; we give equal weight to behaviors aligned with our Ecosurety Values Framework, seeking examples of valuing diversity, accountability, and proactivity.
Responsibilities
As a Data Collection Specialist, your responsibilities will include managing end-to-end data collection projects, from scoping and setup through to delivery and closure. You will collaborate with colleagues in Business Development and Client Services to define project requirements, timelines, and client expectations. Coordinating project kick-off meetings will be part of your role, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and data collection processes are communicated clearly. You will deliver insightful presentations to external stakeholders on project outcomes and subsequent steps, monitor project progress, escalate risks or issues to the Service Manager as needed, and ensure that all projects are delivered on time and meet high standards of data quality. Accurately collecting and validating data in line with established processes and timelines will also be crucial, alongside maintaining accurate records and ensuring updates are logged in relevant systems.
