Requirements
Must:
- Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A, ITIL Foundation) are a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Experience supporting users with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Proactive and customer-focused mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage support tickets and work within SLAs
- Must be able to drive for travel to other locations
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Log, prioritise, and manage support tickets in line with SLAs
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Support users with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Manage user accounts via Active Directory (password resets, permissions, access)
- Escalate more complex issues to second-line support where required
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and IT assets
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes including device setup and access
Description
We are Eaton Syalon, and we are supporting a key client with an exclusive opportunity for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our in-house IT team in Sheffield. This full-time role offers a salary between £27,000 and £28,000, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and the flexibility of working one day from home. In this varied, hands-on role, you will ensure timely resolution of IT support queries, keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly across multiple sites.
