Requirements
Must:
- Relevant experience in consulting or industry with significant management experience
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop others, effectively communicate, manage budgets, client expectations, and deliver quality projects on time
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients
- Proven work experience as a Data Architect
- Experience in gathering and analyzing system requirements
- Proven cloud data architecture experience (Azure/AWS)
- Deep understanding of both relational and non-relational databases
- Ability to design cloud architectures at a conceptual, logical, and physical level
- Analytically minded with the ability to assimilate new techniques and knowledge to deliver insights and solve problems
- Professional aptitude to work in diverse, evolving, and dynamic client environments
- Experience in various aspects of the data analytics lifecycle, including Cloud and Data Architecture, Data Pipelines, ETL/ELT, Data Modelling, and Data Governance principles
- A completed degree (bachelors, masters, or PhD) or relevant professional experience
- Advantageous to have data-related cloud certifications in Azure and/or AWS
Responsibilities
- Helping clients unlock value from their information assets through collaboration with domain experts and embedding innovative data analytics solutions
- Leading diverse teams with varying skillsets using different Data and Analytics technologies
- Adapting leadership style to fit team, client, and cultural needs while anticipating risks and escalating issues as necessary
- Creating a positive learning culture, coaching, and counseling junior team members to support their development
- Working in multi-disciplinary teams across various industries to help clients transform their business
- Contributing to the growth of the team by bringing energy, enthusiasm, and the courage to lead
- Creating innovative insights from knowledge and experience to add value to clients and society
- Championing operational efficiency improvements on projects and internal initiatives
- Driving projects to completion with a focus on high-quality work
- Contributing to the wider Data & Analytics teams future by building the brand, attending events, collaborating with teams, and producing thought leadership
- Establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships while identifying potential business opportunities for EY
