Must:
- Experience in managing and technically leading a software engineering team.
- Strong soft skills to interact with clients and demonstrate credibility in technology and overall delivery.
- Proven capability in shaping the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, driving improvements across development, testing, deployment, and operational phases.
- Ability to implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and efficient release management strategies.
- Experience in enhancing system performance using load testing, caching, and optimizing database queries and application logic for better scalability and response times.
- Expertise in modern engineering standards, including TDD, contract testing, secure coding, as well as architectural patterns like event-driven architecture and platform migration.
- Experience providing technical subject matter expertise to shape bids and client proposals.
- Ability to present proposed approaches and discuss technical implementation with prospective clients during the sales process.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK full-time without restrictions and be eligible for SC clearance.
Responsibilities
- Join our Digital & Data team to work alongside product, design, and a variety of experts and cross-disciplinary teams to bring innovative software ideas to life.
- Work on a wide range of projects and technology stacks for clients across seven sectors, ensuring no project is ever the same.
- Advocate for and implement the right technology for specific tasks to guarantee scalable, high-performance applications.
- Use technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, along with frameworks like Vue, Angular, React, Node, Spring, and .NET.
- Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, and work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
- Apply infrastructure-as-code methodologies with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Bicep.
- Leverage pragmatic and safe usage of AI through the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
