Requirements
Must:
- 5–7+ years’ hands-on data science experience with productionised models.
- Degree in a quantitative/technical field (Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, ML, Computer Science).
- Strong Python, SQL, and ML/AI libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experienced with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Databricks) and data visualisation tools.
- Excellent communicator, collaborative, curious, and passionate about using data to create impact.
- Nice to have: Energy sector experience, pricing/commercial modelling, credit risk/debt background, PySpark, NLP, or Generative AI.
Responsibilities
- Shape how we approach pricing in a fast-moving energy market and deliver data-driven insights that influence commercial decisions.
- Support strategic decision-making around debt, credit risk, and customer segmentation, using predictive models and AI techniques.
- Drive innovation in AI and advanced analytics in our Flex space, building models that unlock strategic opportunities.
