Requirements
Must:
- BSc Degree (2.1 or higher) or equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline
- 4+ years industry experience in software development
- Proficiency in networking and programming (preferably C++ or Java)
- Experience with Git source control
- Strong understanding of Linux
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Strong team working and problem-solving skills
- Flexible can-do attitude
- Knowledge of Python, multi-threaded programming, and networking protocols
- Familiarity with mobile internet technologies
- Experience with GitLab for CI/CD
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Understanding of cloud technologies (e.g. containerization, Grafana)
Responsibilities
- Participate in the specification, design, and planning of upcoming features
- Build, maintain, test (including automated functional tests), and release our well-architected services by consistently writing clean code and following best practices
- Apply the Enea software development process using Agile methodologies with modern CI/CD tooling, including virtualisation and Kubernetes environments
- Implement AI/ML techniques in the software development process and within the product
- Learn about data analytics approaches to enhance our products for insights into mobile internet browsing behaviours
- Assist the publications department to document our products as required
- Work in a multifunctional scrum team with developers, test engineers, and architects
- Contribute to and maintain automated functional test coverage to validate new features through CI/CD pipelines
