Responsibilities
In this role, you will take on end-to-end ownership of data science projects. This involves spotting opportunities and deploying models that deliver measurable results. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, dig into business pain points, pitch smart solutions, and deliver predictive models that directly influence decisions across the company. This position requires you to lead your own projects while driving outcomes and being accountable for real commercial impact.
Description
You’ll be joining a lean, high-performing data science team of three in a Fintech that's making significant advancements in financial services. Your work will shape how the business operates; for example, one of your future teammates has transformed the collections function through effective model-building. You will collaborate face-to-face in the Nottingham office four days a week, allowing you to have a high level of visibility and direct influence over key business decisions. In this role, you will enjoy a competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000, with some flexibility for the right person, along with the opportunity to work alongside passionate individuals who are solving real-world problems with data.
