Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Clearance (essential)
- Proven experience working as a Platform Engineer/SRE
- Proven experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
- Proven experience with Cloud platforms, containers, microservices, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Proven experience with Automation, monitoring, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
Responsibilities
As a Platform Engineer, I will be responsible for:
- Contributing across the platform lifecycle, from requirements to development, testing, and documentation.
- Maintaining and improving core development tools, infrastructure, and automation systems.
- Supporting teams with tooling, workflows, and best practices.
- Using cloud, microservices, and DevOps to build a scalable, reliable platform.
- Troubleshooting issues to ensure system performance and stability.
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team, bringing adaptability and a learning mindset.
Description
This is an initial 6-month contract role with a competitive daily rate of £550 - £600, Inside IR35.
