Must:
We require the following skills and experience for the SC Cleared DevOps Engineer position:
- Proficient in AWS (ECS, ECR, Fargate), Python, Node.js, and Docker
- Skilled in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Strong grasp of distributed systems, API security (OAuth, API keys, JWT), and Apigee/APIM platforms
- Experienced in building enterprise applications, designing scalable APIs, and generating custom analytics
- SC Clearance (essential)
Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, deploying, and monitoring cloud solutions using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, ECS, ECR, DynamoDB, S3)
- Managing infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and collaborating across teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient solutions
- Integrating APIs into CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Designing and managing APIs using Apigee Edge and X, driving strategy, support, and insights to optimize integration and documentation
Description
This is an initial 6-month contract role with remote working, offering a daily rate of £350 - £375, Inside IR35. We are eager to find a candidate who can bridge development and operations, focusing on workflow automation, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and reliable software delivery.
