Requirements
Must:
- Candidates must hold SC Clearance and BPSS.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Microsoft Operating Systems
- Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft Office & Office 365
- Microsoft Teams
- SCCM & Intune
- Basic to intermediate networking knowledge.
- Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative IT environment, ideally within Financial Services.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Responsibilities
- I will expect you to deliver second-level Business As Usual (BAU) support to end users with professionalism and efficiency.
- You'll act as 'smart hands' for other IT teams and Service Management to support business continuity.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across hardware, software, and network systems will be a key part of your role.
- Once fully trained, I will have you participate in the on-call rota for major incident response.
- Maintaining documentation and contributing to knowledge base articles for recurring issues will also be part of your responsibilities.
Description
We are ECS Group, seeking a skilled and proactive 2nd Line Onsite Engineer to provide efficient and timely support to end users. This role is critical in maintaining business continuity and ensuring high-quality IT service delivery within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The work pattern is Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with the option for 1-day remote work per week, subject to performance. The start date is ASAP, and we offer a competitive rate to be discussed. Additionally, once up to speed, you will participate in a paid, shared on-call rota to respond to P1 major incidents outside normal service hours.
