Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript. You should have experience with Next.js and Node.js, as well as familiarity with Git flow branching strategies. Additionally, development experience with Azure Function Apps and proficiency in GitHub Enterprise are essential. Hands-on experience in deploying and hosting applications in Azure is necessary, along with Agile/Scrum team experience. We value strong documentation skills, particularly with Markdown.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will support the transition from project-based delivery to product-focused development. I will embed disciplined code promotion processes and improve CI/CD practices. My aim is to drive improvements in code quality and maintainability while enhancing application observability, including logging and monitoring. I will provide technical guidance and advocate for best development practices throughout the team.
Description
Please note that this role requires 2 days onsite and is classified as inside IR35. The position is hybrid, with 2-3 days onsite in Warrington or York, and the rest of the time can be remote. The duration of this contract is for 6 months, with the possibility of extension. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large digital experience program and contribute to the ongoing transformation of customer-facing applications.
