Must:

- Extensive experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Ability to lead teams through sprint and release cycles
- End-to-end ownership of product backlog and prioritisation
- Strong experience engaging senior stakeholders within central government
- Ability to translate roadmaps into actionable user stories
- Skilled in defining clear, testable product features across complex environments
- Strong process mapping and domain modelling capability
- Significant recent UK public sector and central government experience
- Proven background as a Product Manager or Product Owner in complex government programmes
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and delivery of digital products within Agile, multi-disciplinary teams
- Shape problems, set priorities, and ensure outcomes meet user needs and government standards
- Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring each sprint delivers measurable value
- Actively participate in sprint ceremonies and have authority to accept or reject completed work
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate strategic roadmaps into clear, deliverable backlog items
- Ensure solutions meet user, business, and policy needs
- Drive continuous improvement and remove delivery barriers
- Oversee UAT and release planning
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement
