Requirements
Must:
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Network Engineer.
- Hands-on experience supporting or configuring Proxy Platforms (e.g., McAfee, Skyhigh, Blue Coat).
- Knowledge of load balancing technologies such as F5 or VMware Next Gen Load.
- Prior experience in supporting network changes and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Responsibilities
- I will assist in the configuration and management of proxy systems, access policies, and routing rules.
- I will support the implementation and configuration of access policies, routing, and management of web proxies.
- I will ensure effective incident response and planned changes in a complex, multi-layered network.
- I will collaborate with senior engineers and architecture teams to deliver stable, secure, and scalable services.
Description
This is a 12-month rolling contract role with hybrid working options based in Chester. The pay rate is between £450 and £550 per day, categorized as Inside IR35. We are a World's Leading Technology Organization looking for a talented Network Engineer to support and enhance our EMEA network infrastructure, with a strong focus on web proxy technologies.
