I am looking for candidates who possess strong technical knowledge in hardware, software, operating systems, and network infrastructure. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential, as I need someone who can build trust with internal users. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with effective written and verbal communication skills for user support and documentation, are necessary. You should be able to manage workloads under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities. Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 is required, and a background in Linux would be ideal.
Responsibilities
In this role, I need you to deliver prompt and effective first-line and second-line support for IT-related issues. You will troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and system problems proactively. It will be your responsibility to manage and coordinate the repair and maintenance of complex IT systems. Building strong relationships with internal users to understand and meet their IT needs will be crucial. Additionally, you will respond quickly to user concerns, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption. Supporting continuous improvement of IT services, including occasional travel to Bristol and Maidenhead, will also be part of your duties.
