IT Infrastructure Engineer

- I will support design activities by providing insight into best practices and operational metrics related to operational support matters. - I will contribute to strategic decision-making through research and my experience. - I will provide input for new process and policy design activities. - I will ensure thorough documentation and knowledge management practices are adhered to consistently. - I will always act securely, ensuring that IT security is at the core of the solutions provided, and I will assist in maintaining associated security accreditations. - I will provide Proof of Concept (PoC) support for new service enablement activities. - I will ensure proper change control policies are followed, including necessary testing when practical. - I will facilitate the deployment and release management of IT infrastructure as required. - I will provide 3rd line support for infrastructure services as needed. - I will assist colleagues with problem management, aiding in the development and deployment of necessary changes to restore or maintain services (e.g., patching, configuration changes). - I will liaise with internal and external service providers, users, and customers as needed. - I will adhere to company and departmental processes and policies for managing IT services. - I will provide situation-appropriate leadership during all internal and external engagements.
