Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with previous experience in security architecture, with a strong focus on AWS cloud security for at least 5 years. You should possess deep expertise in AWS security, along with substantial experience in large-scale migration projects. A solid background in network security, VPC architecture, and hybrid connectivity is essential. While AWS Security Certifications are desirable, knowledge of security automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly with Terraform or CloudFormation, is also important.
Responsibilities
As our AWS Security Architect, you will design secure AWS landing zones utilizing IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, and WAF. You will conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI-DSS. Embedding and validating security controls throughout migration processes will be a key task, alongside architecting IAM policies and implementing Zero Trust principles. Additionally, you will automate security in CI/CD pipelines using AWS Config and IaC tools, manage monitoring and logging, and lead incident response efforts. Advising stakeholders on security risks and mitigation strategies will also be part of your role.
Description
This is an initial 6-month contract role with hybrid working conditions, requiring attendance in our London office twice a month. The position offers a competitive rate of £450 - £500, and is classified as inside IR35.
